Event Description

Previously known as the Shake It Off 5K hosted by Team Fox members, Jimmy and Cherryl Choi, The Michael J. Fox Foundation will be taking over this annual run/walk to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson's Research. We are excited to be hosting this first-ever Chicago Run/Walk in person on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, IL. Distances include Kids Fun Run, 1 Mile Walk, and a 5K Run/Walk.

Come join us and unite with runners and walkers worldwide to help move a cure for Parkinson's disease over the finish line. Whether you participate for your friend who is newly diagnosed, a family member, for yourself or in the memory of a loved one, we are stronger when we join together.

As always, the impact remains the same for all of our annual Run/Walk's: 100 percent of the proceeds from this event will go directly to our high-impact programs to help speed a cure for Parkinson's disease.
