On January 12, we will be hosting an event directed at connecting single parents with local organizations and resources from Greenville & Spartanburg Counties. See the website for more.
If you are a single parent, it is normal to feel like you are on your own as you navigate the challenges of raising your children. You are not alone! Both Greenville and Spartanburg counties are filled with resources aimed at equipping, encouraging, and caring for families encountering such challenges as these.
The morning will begin with an informational session on simple and helpful tips for setting boundaries for yourself and your child going into the new year. Following the speaker, we will head to the resource fair, where you will be connected to community resources and organizations from all around Spartanburg and Greenville. Representatives from each organization will be available to talk to you and help provide the information most helpful to you.
Activities and fun will be provided for your children and teens while you enjoy the resource fair. Kids will have the opportunity to jump on bounce houses, participate in crafts, games, and take part in a Teddy Bear Clinic provided by Greenville Hospital System.
